Hi im using a mac powerbook 10.4.11 and im trying to tether my new bold to my mac. I hade no issues doing this with my curve 8320, but this is showing to be a bit resistant. i downloaded blackberry 3gcidi modem script, but i still cant get this to connect ..Any suggestions? Im also doing this on t-mobile

I had the same problem. Solution:

1. Remove the Blackberry from the Bluetooth-list
2. Add the missing Bluetooth-DUN interface into the network. You dont need to configure it here.
3. Follow that guide and you will see that the wizard will change its options

Hi I’ve been trying to pair my bold on orange UK with my imac running 10.6, but when I go to set up bluetooth device, I don’t get the checkbox saying ‘access the internet using my phones internet connection’. I followed all the instructions perfectly, can anyone help?

hi all,
first of all i would like to thank you very much for this tutorial and i’d like to add something missing here
first of all when you extract the modem script into Macintosh HD->Library->Modem Scripts
you have to change the blackberry file permission to 777 to make work 100%

i’ve tested it in mac OS X 10.6 and every thing went smooth
if you have any problem please PM at any time
